T O P I C R E V I E WlucspaceOne of the last 'unknown' Mir patches is finally well documented. Only fuzzy pictures of the Mir EO 14/Soyuz TM17 crew patch were available, but earlier this year, Spaceview's Jaap Terweij photographed Alexander Serebrov's flown patch. Only three of these patches were produced for the crew, who added them to their spacesuits just before launch in 1993, using elastic straps around the arms. The patch was designed by a friend of commander Vasily Tsibliev. Since the original patches are unlikely to be available on the market anytime soon, Spaceview has produced a limited number of replica's of the patch, with the permission of Tsibliev and Serebrov.Have a look at http://www.spacepatches.info/ for details.Lucheng44Bravo Jaap!Ed HengeveldBUDULimited number? That means that Spaceview will soon stop to produce this patch?lucspaceA run of 200 patches was produced in August of 2004.
